Standard Injection Vials, Type I Borosilicate Glass

Type I borosilicate glass injection vials manufactured to ISO 8362-1 dimensional standards, with a crimp/flip-off neck finish for aseptic fill-and-finish. Full 2R to 100R size range.

Used across reconstituted lyophilized preparations, insulin and other chronic-dose injectables, hormone and biologic preparations, vaccines, and general parenteral and IV additive packaging.

Standard bottom shape is flat, not blowback/rounded, so the same vial works for both liquid fill and lyophilization (freeze-drying). Rounded/blowback bottom available on custom order. Note that lyophilization also requires a vented (igloo) stopper, not the standard non-vented stopper, to allow moisture to escape during the freeze-drying cycle. Vented stoppers are available on request. Vials ship uncapped; cap/stopper color (grey, blue, red, green, yellow, teal, black, white, purple, or custom OEM color) and stopper venting are selected when you submit a quote request.
